The dynamic nature of their sequence is well compensated by meditation, Reiki, spiritual workshops, and philosophy talks. Special attention is paid to alignment and modifications, that makes this program available for both beginners and intermediate practitioners. This is our 3rd successful year we are running our Transylvanian program in this magical venue between 1-20 July. FitYoga Teacher Training Transylvania is a semi-private program, therefore, it is limited to max. 4 students to create a personalized, intimate experience for the participants. During this teacher training, you will be staying in a modern luxury family house at the edge of a tiny Transylvanian village in the woods, based on shared or single occupancy. Although FitYoga loves practicing yoga in nature, they also spend quite some time indoors as they use a projector to present their lectures visually. Please note that FitYoga reserves the right to change the venue if the owner of this venue changes their plans. In that case, they will book a similar venue. OUR MAGICAL VENUE
This yoga teacher training will be held in Transylvania, Romania. There is more to Transylvania than castles and vampire legends. Romania’s central region draws nature lovers with its spectacular alpine peaks and the largest brown bear population in Europe, while adrenaline junkies can swap the cobblestone alleys and fairy tale towers for snowmobiling on frozen lakes and cycling the hairpin mountain roads. You will find hardwood forests, lush pastures, and wildflower meadows. Travelling around Transylvania, described as “the last truly medieval landscape in Europe,” feels like you’ve gone back 100 years. Horse-drawn carts rumble along dirt roads, while shepherds tend their flocks and villagers make hay in the sunshine. This place has a most special place in our heart as it is the purest, wildest and most romantic place we have ever been to. Practice yoga in a quiet valley surrounded by old pines and joyful streams, meditate by the sounds of birds, eat homemade vegan meals made of fresh ingredients. As the house is located in the middle of the woods with no neighbours we have the best venue for rejuvenation, meditation, yoga and learning. The dynamic nature of the FitYoga Sequence is well compensated by meditation, Yin Yoga, Reiki energy healing, spiritual workshops and philosophy talks. Special attention is paid to asana alignment and modifications according to injury management to become equipped with the minimum knowledge required to give not just group but private sessions to your students after completing the teacher training program. Our program is suitable for both beginners and intermediate practitioners with a minimum of 6 months of yoga practice experience. The FitYoga sequence Students will learn the powerful set of the 90-minute FitYoga sequence and its modifications for different levels. The curriculum also covers healing sequences for back pain, shoulder, wrist, neck, or knee injuries. Core strength and alignment Students will study the correct alignment of different yoga asanas, including how to use bandhas and drishtis, how to use body energetics and breathwork, and how to adjust others in the poses. You will learn how to combine asanas with Pilates exercises to create dynamic FitYoga sequences. Pilates core workshop This workshop will reveal the differences and similarities of yoga and Pilates, and how to effectively combine the two methods. You will learn a variety of core exercises for the abdominals and also how to perform lower back strengthening yoga asanas “the Pilates way”. YOGA ANATOMY The three anatomy workshops will help you refresh your knowledge about bones, muscles and joints and their interaction. You will gain more insight into the injuries and special conditions that your students may be dealing with, and you will learn about the various risk factors associated with asana practice, as well as strategies that can help prevent injury. Raw vegan alkalizing nutrition Throughout the course, you will have a whole food plant-based lunch. This five-hour transformational workshop will reveal the secret of alkaline eating and how to to keep yourself forever young, healthy, and energetic. Topics include the spiritual aspects of food, the psychology and physiology of human digestion, and the pH balance of the body. You will learn about alkaline versus acidic foods, raw versus cooked foods, superfoods, enzymes, and common nutrition lies (protein, dairy, meat, fish, vitamins, and more). This hands-on workshop will teach you all about cleansing, detoxing, natural weight loss, and what or how to blend juice every day. Self-realization workshops Balazs pulls you out of your comfort zone and shakes you up to realize your full potential in your life. His dynamic energy, inspiring stories, and uplifting teachings will inspire and have you springing into action to create the life you always wished for. You will learn how to literally transform fear into your personal power, so you will start taking the steps you need to manifest your desires. You will work deeply towards achieving deeper awareness and understanding of what you truly want in life and your path to obtaining it. These workshops will help you gain confidence, stability, and constant growth, and you will feel alive again even on the deepest level. Energy healing – Reiki attunement On completion of the Reiki level one course, you will receive your attunement to use effectively the universal life force energy that surrounds you all. You will mostly be able to effectively use Reiki healing energy on yourself however, if you decide to continue with level two, you will be also able to use healing on others. You will learn about chakras, their function, their imbalances, and their connection to Reiki. Energetic anatomy Through exploring the five layers or koshas of our human existence, you will discover your true higher being and how it is different from what you think of yourselves to be. You will discuss in more details the pranamaya kosha and the related five vayus (winds) of energy flow, the effects blockages have on your body, mind, and spirit, and how different asanas can help release these energy blockages. The second part of the workshop gives a basic introduction to the nadis system or energy highway of the human body, explores ida and pingala imbalances in the human body, and teaches how to deal with these imbalances through pranayama techniques. Following this workshop, you will have a very clear understanding of chakras and their relation to your daily life and yoga practice. Yoga philosophy and yogi lifestyle In the West, yoga is known only as a physical practice, but in reality, it is a vast collection of spiritual principles and practices aimed at integrating mind, body, and spirit, to achieve a state of enlightenment or oneness with the universe. The aim of this workshop is to introduce you the traditional yoga philosophy and to have a better understanding of how to implement the ancient spiritual teachings into your modern everyday life. You will examine the four goals (purushartas) of human life, the five mental patterns (kleshas) or defects, the yoga sutras of Patanjali (five yamas and niyamas) defined literally as “the path to transcendence”. The three doshas and Ayurvedic nutrition You will be introduced to the basic principles of Ayurveda, the five tattvas, the three doshas, and their qualities and attributes. After the workshop, you will be able to distinguish and identify each dosha and how they manifest in people’s body and mind, and in every living thing around you. You will learn how to harmonize doshic imbalances through lifestyle changes, yoga, and nutrition, and how to balance yogic and Ayurvedic nutrition. Prenatal yoga On this workshop, you will experience a full prenatal yoga lesson and prenatal meditation. You will discuss the body and mental changes of pregnancy, possible challenges, and injuries. You will learn breathing techniques and how to adapt supported balances, standing, seated, and lateral poses to pregnancy. Please note that this workshop does not qualify students to become prenatal yoga instructors. Sound healing and meditation This workshop gives a thorough introduction to the basics of sound healing and to various sound healing instruments. You will have the opportunity to learn to play on Tibetan singing bowls and how to use them as part of your yoga lesson. The talk will be followed by a long sound meditation session with instruments and chanting. Mantras and Bhakti yoga Mantra literally means “to protect and purify the mind”. In this workshop, you will explore Bhakti yoga, and the in’s and out’s of mantra, from the language to the history, the science, and the psychology. You will learn and practice different types of mantras, and different techniques for how to effectively and accessible use mantras.

The curriculum of the training program is designed in accordance with the 200-hour Yoga Alliance requirements and it delivers a vast material on yoga alignment, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, yoga history, reiki energy healing, yoga anatomy, injuries and yoga therapy.

ABOUT THE LEAD TEACHER
Balazs Heller from age 7 was trained to become a professional gymnast. Throughout his 13 years of gymnastics career, he developed a deep understanding of body consciousness, meditation, conscious eating which helped him to become junior Gymnastics Champion of Hungary for several years. After gymnastics, he started to practice yoga to heal himself from all his injuries caused by gymnastics. Before Balazs has developed his own FitYoga sequence in 2010 he immersed himself in different styles of yoga (Bikram, Budokon, Hatha, Ashtanga, Yin, Power Vinyasa, Ilyengar, Kundalini) which influenced him in the creation of the FitYoga sequence. In 2009 he won the European Bikram Yoga Champion title. Balazs learned from many teachers: Bikram Choudury, Fred Bush (200-hour PowerYoga Teacher Training), Rae Indigo & Ruslan Kleytman (500-hour Therapeutic Yoga Teacher Training), Cameron Shayne (100-hour Budokon Training – Martial Art based Yoga). Balazs is a 500-hrs certified yoga teacher, fitness trainer, Massage Therapist, gymnastics coach and Reiki Master. Balazs believes in creating balance through conscious body awareness, vegan nutrition, and devoting your life towards a spiritual path. He has been following the Baha’i Teachings for more than 15 years, which are based on the unity of Mankind and the unity of all religions. He travels around the world with his teachings and he lives in Malta with his wife Karin and their two children.
